Letters from Spirit 🦋

Follow your ease. Notice when you’re forcing. Nothing in this world or life that is good and holy requires force.

We all have a direct line of communication with Spirit. Maybe it’s through prayer, song, poetry, or communion with our ancestors.

These letters are a conversation between myself and Spirit, in the form of a letter. They begin with a question or situation I need help or guidance with. Once I write the question, I write the channeled response from my higher self, full of wisdom, grace, and always, love. 💖

Background

I had a mom date at the zoo this afternoon with another entrepreneur who’s also on Substack. We talked about how we’re both struggling to understand the learning curve with different marketing strategies and not sure where to focus our limited time/resources as we try to build community and gain financial stability.

I went home after this conversation confused and discouraged. I have several creative projects I’m working on but it’s hard to know how much time/attention to give each one and if I should be diversifying or “putting my eggs all in one basket,” and focusing or niching down.

Truthfully, I felt disheartened, like I was chasing an illusion or fantasy instead of something possible.

After writing down my values to re-center and ground myself in my intrinsic priorities, I asked Spirit—

Spirit, what guidance do you have? What should I focus on?

Letter from Spirit

All is well, our dearest, sweet soul. Your desire is so strong and we celebrate that! Your desire moves more than mountains, it moves hearts. The question isn’t so much about more or less focus— it’s releasing resistance. Your desires are clear and coming together. The key is not softening your desires or buckling down on them but relaxing into receiving.

The more you notice what you’ve already received, the more you allow more to come in, yes, with ease. This is the power of gratitude. The more specific you are in your gratitude, the more momentum you allow through the desires you already have.

You want us to answer for you what next steps to take, what projects to pursue, an order to follow. That is not our prerogative, love. We trust you (as you should trust yourself!) and will line up whatever opportunities you want, when you want them.

Boundaries, yes. Persistence, yes. Faith, oh so much faith. But not force. And your life, your creativity is a sacred and holy thing unfolding with grace. And plenty. The table is abundant, no need to choose just one plate.
