Full Moon in Aries Tarot Reading
Can you have your own back, even when the fire and passion and energy fade away?
Welcome Readers. While astrological events are important anchors and spiritual times of reflection, the tarot messages below are timeless. Connect to your intuition for the guidance meant for you, whenever you find it. Thank you for being here.
This Full Moon in Aries is an important one. The first call-back of the astrological calendar, it completes a six-month cycle that was initiated by the New Moon in Aries, last Spring. Chiron, the Wounded Healer, is also in the sign of Aries, as is the North Node, or what some call our true North Star of destiny.
All that bright light with nowhere to hide.
Tarot Reading
“The most common ego identifications have to do with possessions, the work you do, social status and recognition, knowledge and education, physical appearance, special abilities, relationships, person and family history, belief systems, and often nationalistic, racial, religious, and other collective identifications. None of these is you.”
—Eckhart Tolle
This New Moon might have us squirming in our seats. The theme of ego identity came up very clearly, with The Devil in Reverse and the 8 of Swords clarified by Judgement in reverse and the 5 of Pentacles and 7 of Wands.
There’s a need to be honest with ourselves- are we willing to stand by our side when the honeymoon phase of the relationship or creative project has passed? When we’ve run out of the initial burst of energy and enthusiasm?
How do we know if what’s motivating us is fear or hope? If what we’re chasing is achievement or escape?
There’s a beautiful (albeit uncomfortable) opportunity here to take stock and remind ourselves to have our own back. To see life through even when that Spring feeling fades into Autumn and our capacity changes or we’re met with failure.
Working with Libra season, the invitation is to balance our ego-desires with integration and partnership, even if we are just partnering with the “slower” parts of us that often get left behind. Temper your ambition with community support and don’t forget to collaborate with others.
You don’t have to go it alone. An important cycle of ego identity is coming to a close. How do you want to perceive yourself moving forward? How can you engage with your passions and desires in a way that doesn’t lead to stress and burnout?
Treat yourselves with care, let yourself be extra cozy while these energies move through and remember- we always have the choice to choose again. 💗🍂
